x christian is a very average-sized young man, standing at just over five foot eight and weighing no more than one hundred and forty-five pounds. but then again, he is on the smaller side. he's skinny, but not overly so. christian spends time working out to tone his body, leaving him slightly muscular with little extra fat. his skin is rather pale from spending most of his childhood and teen years inside with his guitar, though it has gotten a bit of color from touring to exotic places in recent years. christian has several tattoos, mostly on his left arm and chest. normally, when someone sees a tattooed man, it is automatically assumed they're scary as hell, or a douchebag. christian is neither, at least he hopes not. his boyish face has remained its innocent look since early childhood. it is probably due to his large, slightly drooped eyes. those same eyes are so difficult to find their exact color; though they are officially a light grey-blue, they tend to look differently in different light. sometimes they even look a dark blackish brown! his eyes are shadowed by dark, thick, rounded eyebrows that seem to always be perfectly groomed, as his makeup artist prefers he keeps them. christian has dark brown hair that nearly wraps around his face and curls at the ends. much of the time, it is straightened and swept out of his face, and even dyed black. in all honestly, christian has spent, and still does daily, a good amount of time on his appearance. it's not just that he likes it and it makes him feel good, but christian has found his fans enjoy his style. most of the time it is simple; nice jeans and a button-up, sometimes paired with a vest or jacket. of course, on stage, he'll wear a loose band tee or tank top and jeans, but that barely counts. everyone wears that.

HISTORY: daniel and penny were high school sweethearts. they had dated since sophomore year and got married after daniel finished college. penny never went; she knew from the start it wasn't for her. instead, she opened a small bakery while daniel searched for a job as a chemical engineer. both came from fairly wealthy families; they borrowed money as they got on their feet and repaid the money once they had gotten themselves jobs and a nice, large house. from the beginning, they knew they wanted a large family. months after their marriage, they discovered they were pregnant with their first child--christian. they loved the boy with all their hearts and spoiled him to death. christian was never without love in his life. or playmates; a year or so after his birth they had another child, benjamin. the two were perfect playmates; they played together perfectly with little or no fighting. by this time, penny had hired many workers for her bakery, realizing she couldn't work there often with her young children. and within the next two years, the two had another child, zane. penny enjoyed staying at home with her children while her husband worked. she was the perfect stay at home mother, never without love and always looking out for her children. christian's early years were probably some of his best. but isn't everyone's?
three years after their fourth child, tristan, the couple discovered they were once again pregnant with a child. it was around this time, at age eight, that christian became interested in music. he convinced his parents to buy him a guitar and lessons to match. he quickly picked up the instrument and taught himself to sing. however, it was also around this time that everything changed. christian and his mother were heading to a guitar recital when a large SUV sped across the intersection illegally, slamming into the driver's side of the car. penny died on impact, while christian was rushed to the hospital with head trauma and a broken arm. their family was broken. their mother had been the center of their family, and now she was gone. everyone was confused, especially christian. he hadn't seen the car coming; he hadn't even realized what had happened until he woke up in the hospital to find his father sobbing and his siblings looking miserable. the funeral was a very somber and depressing event. it was quiet, though; all the tears had been shed. they said goodbye to their mother and went home, to find their grandmother waiting. she ended up staying there for the night, and that night turned into years. she helped care for the children while their father was at work and eventually, everyone began to heal. things turned back to normal, at least for the kids. nothing could help daniel, really; penny had been the love of his life.
christian learned to put the past behind him. he did well in school and continued playing guitar and singing, mostly on his own. it wasn't until a family friend discovered he could sing that anything really happened. that friend was friends with the owner of a venue in washington d.c., and after playing there just once, christian had an agent from a label at his door days later. he was signed at seventeen, but didn't put out an album until a year later. until then, he had mostly done back-up singing on other albums and made friends in the music industry, which was definitely something he needed. when he put out his album, he discovered people actually liked him. for his music and for him. he left home to live in detroit, michigan; closer to the recording studio and the label headquarters. christian became almost immediately popular with the teens, though he found he had some older fans as well. he didn't become all that famous until perhaps a year ago, just after his nineteenth birthday. he'd put out a second album and it became a major success. it had probably become so due to the fact that one of the songs had been playing on the radio, something christian is rather proud of. he is now working on his third album, spending time to make it perfect. but for now, he's in italy on the constellations tour, feeling as though it's going to one of the best.
