The sun was starting to slowly set and Anya was making her way around town. The streets were filled with cars and the sidewalks very busy as people walked home from work and shopping. The day was a pretty normal day for Anya. She did what she could to make money and had tried just about everything except perhaps standing on the street corner and selling herself for sex. No that wasn't like Anya, she was to sweet and shy for something like that, not to mention she had enough respect for herself and would never do something like that. Most of what she got today was just out of luck, a few dollars here and there that some one had dropped or out of a purse some one had lost. Okay so maybe stealing wasn't exactly the noble thing to do but she had to live some how, and so she did what she had to.
Knowing that's he should get home soon or at least before dark she headed in the direction of the old abandon movie theater at the end of town. Well at least at the moment that was where they called home until some cop found them or until some one was caught stealing and they needed to move quickly. It wasn't as bad on the inside as it look on the outside. They had managed to clean the inside up enough to live in it at least, but lets face it when your homeless you live where you can and for the most part it was a dry and warm place to sleep.
She walked into a small store and walked around her eyes watching the cashier at the front. As she made her way down the isle way she would slip a a few things in her hoodie pockets. To be honest Anya hated to steal things, that wasn't like her and she felt bad for robbing people of things. In the end she always pushed the thought in the back of her head and proceeded anyways. Sure, one of these days she would probably be caught and well she all ready had a record. She knew next time it would be juvie, no letting her get off easy again. When the cashier wasn't looking Any quickly moved towards the front of the store and slipped out the door. Looking behind her to make sure the cashier didn't see anything as she opened the door and hurried out she bumped into some one. The items she had stolen falling out of her pockets and on the ground. Uh.. I'm so sorry I should watch where I'm going she said stumbling over her words as she was nervous she had just been caught in the act of stealing.

levi riley* Levi was parading through town today without a single chip on his shoulder. He was in a fabulously good mood and defending his pride with every step he took. He stood up tall as he walked down the unfamiliar cobblestone path, looking to his left out into the view of the water that never seized to amaze him. Though he was happy, giddy , and ready to face the day, the truth was dawning on him. He was alone with little to do. He had a guitar lesson later that day with Adam Gontier, something he was really psyched and also stumped about, but for now, it was just him and the big, wide city. He did like to spend time with the city, though. But he was an easily bored guy.
He eased himself around the corner, pushing his toes into the soles of his shoes. The socks he had on were new and comfortable. He liked the feeling. They were a pair of navy blue, red, and yellow Spiderman socks - unexpected under his finished, simple outerwear. He was wearing slim gray pants. They were almost purple, but not quite. His top was a rolled up, crisp white button-down. Nothing else adorned him but a smeared pen note he'd written on his hand earlier. He couldn't even remember what it had been of. Maybe a phone number or something. He wracked his brain for only a moment about it before deciding he didn't care. He licked his thumb and tried to get the smudges off, but it only spread the ink around more. He gave up, returning his hands to his pockets.
As he fixated on his hands, he ran into something suddenly. Startled, he looked up and saw that it was a young blonde girl leaving whatever store it was they were in front of. A few items fell out of her pockets. Jesus. That's sketchy. He wasn't sure if she'd shoplifted them from the store of what. She seemed like she'd been hiding something, but then again, she could just be environmentally conscious and rebelling against the store's plastic bag regime. He decided to just help her out, whoever she might be. Politely, he bent over, gathered up her things, and handed them to her. "Think ya may've dropped something." he said to her, eyebrows raised. He found himself wondering about her. She didn't look Italian to him. Well, actually... maybe... He waited curiously for her to speak, hoping she had some sort of determining accent he could play on.
ooc, nonsense! 'tis a lovely post. [/right]
