x Stella is a very, very, thin, small person. She is on the shorter side of an average height at 5'4, but her lean frame makes her look like a child. She doesn't always wear makeup, but she likes to put a bunch of smoky eyeliner and mascara on her eyes sometimes. Other than that, you'll never find her in it. Too expensive. Her wardrobes consists of various different pairs of tights/fishnets with different colors and patterns, cheap band tees, mostly from the eighties, ripped pairs of shorts, and messy-looking shoes. Her hair is as messy as her style. It's long and blonde and thick, but all layered and tussled about all the time. It's like bedhead all day long. Sex hair, some might call it. She has small breasts, a slightly upturned nose, and pale-ish skin. She's not classically beautiful, but one could find a taste for her eccentric appearance.
FEARS: She's afraid her uncle will force her to come back home, although this is a very irrational fear. She's also afraid of wasps, which is strange, because she loves spiders and snakes.
SECRETS: Stella has many secrets. She stole a $400 watch from her uncle after she found out he'd been cheating on her aunt. Also, she kept the affair itself hidden. Another big secret of hers is when she got molested. Nobody knows about it.
LIKES: Bubblegum, dessert, cities, concerts
DISLIKES: The country, family bonding, green beans
FLAWS: She's very passive-aggressive.
QUIRKS: Has a drawer full of different pairs of tights, often does spontaneously dangerous things, is really flexible, always talks to strangers
GOALS: Increase fanbase at the festival, go to a lot of parties in Venice, make some money
FAMILY: DECEASED except for her uncle-in-law, Jerry, 61, untrustworthy and withdrawn, and her aunt, Louise, 54, uptight and snobby.
HISTORY: Stella was born in Norway and has lived there ever since. She travels around Europe and the United Kingdom sometimes with her family, but she's never been anywhere else on the map, only learned about places from history books and word-of-mouth. She'd never been to Italy before the festival. She was born in her birth parents' very cramped apartment. It was not the best accommodations for an impromptu birth, especially without a midwife, but there were, quite thankfully, no birth complications. She was born to induced labor when her mother had a short tumble down the stairs in a fight with her father. Her parents abused each other, really. They were both drunks. Her grandparents were always concerned about Stella's well-being knowing the drinking problems her parents had. Her grandfather (her mother's dad) had passed away when she was one, but her grandmother came to visit when Stella was two-and-a-half years old and realized how unsafe it really was. Stella's parents were gone at her grandmother's arrival, out who-knows-where. Stella was left home alone in a house littered with beer cans, and she had a huge bruise on her left cheek. Her grandmother got her out of there immediately. Her parents didn't resist other than one angry phone call from Stella's father where he cussed out grandma. Stella lived with her grandma until she was nine, but then she passed away, too, and went to live with her parents again, because the court had no idea of the unsafe conditions. That only lasted eight months until Stella, a few weeks after her eighth birthday, packed what few belongings she had and left, this time, with no resistance at all. She lived on her own for a few years, and the streets were not friendly. Being a pretty little girl with no guidance at all, she would often find herself in very sketchy situations. She was molested at eleven, which prompted her to go on a search for her aunt and uncle. They were her only other living relatives, and they were thirty miles away. She didn't have their number, and she had no idea how to make money (she'd survived off of petty theft and the kindness of strangers), but she knew what city they lived in. She saved up some panhandling money for a train ride. When she was in the city, she used the phonebook at a local drugstore and called them. They were very strict, which was something Stella was not at all used to. She actually didn't like them very much, although she did appreciate them taking her in. She would never admit that, though. They were conservative and constantly bad-mouthing the people around them, including Stella and her parents. Not that they didn't deserve it, but Stella didn't like it, still. She lived there from age 12 until a few months prior to her arrival at the festival. She'd made less-than-satisfactory grades, but received all the credits she needed to graduate a year early. Her aunt and uncle were not too happy about this, but she was not too happy with them, either. Her uncle had just cheated on her aunt, and she'd been witness. In exchange for her keeping the secret, he agreed to emancipate her legally and send her off to Venice. Now, she's on her own again, but with a bit more savvy and a body that's caught up to her lifestyle.
