Welcome to Crestview, a conservative little southern town.
The year is 1953, the Korean war is over, the baby boom in full
swing, and the first color television broadcast has taken place.
Everything seems just peachy, on the surface. But underneath all
that the discrimination is there, and the turmoil that will come in
the sixties is just under the surface.
Everyone makes mistakes, everyone has secrets, and no one is
as happy as they pretend to be.
